Scheduled for the same day, Delta Air Lines flight 1010 will depart from Dallas-Fort Worth airport at 12:30 pm CT, coinciding with the arrival time of Delta flight 1218 in Detroit at 4:20 pm ET.

Delta Air Lines noted a remarkable surge in flight searches from Austin to Detroit following the announcement of its inaugural path-of-totality flight on February 19th, as stated in a press release.

To cater to the increased demand, Delta flight 1010 will operate using an A321neo aircraft, boasting a larger capacity than its predecessor. With 20 domestic First Class seats, 42 Delta Comfort+ seats, and 132 Main Cabin seats, this aircraft aims to accommodate a broader spectrum of passengers.
